Commissioned by facts and fiction GmbH for the German Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020, the steel members of the pavilion are digitally disassembled and reconstructed into new canopies for future use. The project considers the temporal nature of expos as an opportunity to rethink the approach to impermanent venues as not single-use spectacles but rather a parade of permutations made possible by the recombination of its materials.
